KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Achieve warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job contributions recommending compensation actions.
• Develop and implement key policies related to material receiving, storing, issuing, and replenishment to meet company goals and objectives.
• Coordinates inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to production from warehouse; oversees material transfers and act as a liaison with related departments and/or other warehouses.
• Responsible for inventory Accuracy by coordinating Inventory Cycle Counts to meet site goal, making sure everyone follows cycle count process and procedures, analyze the need of monthly physical counts, perform variance reconciliation, get to root cause and correct negative trends.
• Keeps warehouse equipment operating in optimum conditions by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance and calling for repairs.
• Plan future capacity requirements and needs for all his areas of responsibility.
• Create reports, statistics and metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis or as requested.
• Provides feedback to his direct personnel by performing daily Gemba walks.
• Responsible for implementing Kanban and Supermarket initiatives.
• Responsible for coordinating and enforcing operational programs and personnel policies to comply with ISO-9000.
• Adherence to the company's procedure, policies and vision.
• Promote all Safety and 5s for all his areas of responsibility.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion

 

Equipment Maintenance, Organization.
• Bilingual English / Spanish 90%.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
